Men's apparel company Haggar Clothing has signed its second licensing agreement in as many days - this time with Gramicci for outdoor sportswear.

It follows Haggar's announcement yesterday (15 December) that it had signed a deal with World Cross Culture to provide an outerwear range under the Haggar brand.

"The success Haggar has experienced provided an opportunity to extend to new opportunities for growth," said Jon Ragsdale, senior vice president of marketing and merchandising for Haggar.

"The addition of Gramicci further leverages the strength of the Haggar platform with this extension into outdoor apparel."

Gramicci president Marty Weening said the deal would strengthen the company in terms of finance, production and marketing.

He added: "It will provide timely support to our dealers and greater value to our consumers. The combined passion of these two organisations will undoubtedly bring out the best in both."
