Men’s wear maker Haggar Clothing Co is offering eco-friendly options for its khakis and dress slacks containing Repreve recycled fibres from Unifi.

“Our goal was to provide eco-conscious consumers with a sustainable pant that’s focused on style, comfort, and value; while supporting environmental conservation,” explains Jon Ragsdale, Haggar’s senior vice president of marketing and merchandising.

Unifi’s Repreve fibres are made from 100% recycled materials and, on average, a pair of Haggar trousers from the new line saves ten 16oz plastic bottles from landfill.

The collection also offers care-free attributes such as a comfort waistband and wrinkle resistance, as well as a soft, smooth hand. It is available at retailers including Macy’s, JCPenney, Kohl’s, Belk and Boscov’s.
