Apparel company Haggar Clothing has signed a licensing deal with World Cross Culture to manufacture and market a range of outerwear items.

The agreement, which covers North America, will bring about the launch of a range of fabrics, including Aqua Tech, Soft Shell, wool, Microfiber and washed canvas, as well as items in PU, leather and down.

Jon Ragsdale, Haggar's senior vice president for marketing and merchandising, hailed World Cross Culture's "tremendous industry experience", which he said would help extend the success of the Haggar brand.

"We are very excited about the outerwear opportunity represented by the iconic Haggar brand," said Frank Spadaro, president of World Cross Culture.

"The brand is a great platform for our best product development across various fabrics and performance enhancements."
