Apparel retailer Harold's Stores yesterday (2 February) commenced sales of apparel, shoes and accessories through Internet retailer in its first online alignment.

Previously, goods have only been available at Harold's stores throughout the US, in catalogues and via the company website. The company's initial Amazon range will include spring apparel for men and woman.

Harold's interim CEO Leonard Snyder said: "I am very excited that Harold's was afforded the opportunity to forge this relationship with Amazon, the world's leading online merchant.

"E-commerce has been a strong channel for Harold's, and I believe this growing online environment will enable us to better showcase our unique brand to our customers."
