Trivest, through its affiliate Hartwell Industries, is pleased to announce it has brought together a team of seasoned industry professionals to lead the company's operations and growth opportunities.

Stanley D. Burson has been appointed chairman of the Board and chief executive officer of Hartwell Industries. Mr Burson brings a distinguished track record as president and CEO of Rutland Plastic Technologies. Prior to joining Rutland, he served as president and CEO of Composite Structures International, as COO of a privately held machined-products company, and as general manager of the Access Floor and Air Conditioning Divisions of USG Corporation. Mr Burson also brings experience in sales, engineering and manufacturing management.

James H. Gully has been appointed COO. He has extensive experience in the textiles, manufacturing, and apparel industry and in operations, engineering, sales and marketing. Prior to joining Hartwell Industries, he served as executive VP of operations for JPS Textile Corporation, as senior VP of manufacturing for Nazareth/Century Mills, as VP of basic manufacturing for The William Carter Company and as president of Delta Apparel, and Royal Manufacturing.

Jim Fowler has joined the company as VP of merchandising. He will be primarily responsible for the merchandising of Hartwell Sports, Auburn Sportswear and Merrygarden Athletic Wear product lines. Mr Fowler has 32 years of apparel experience. Prior to joining Hartwell Industries, he served as VP of merchandising for Dunbrooke, as general manager of apparel for the Ben Hogan Company, as president of C-Knit apparel and coastal cottons, and as VP and general manager for Hartwell Garment Company.

Bert Severns has been promoted to vice president of sales for Auburn Sportswear. He has been serving as VP of Sales for the Merrygarden Athletic Wear business of Hartwell Industries, Inc. and will continue with those responsibilities. Mr Severns has extensive apparel experience and an expertise in the area of athletic products. Prior to Hartwell Industries, he served as president and general manager for Patrick USA, as director of sales and marketing for Mitre Apparel and as vice president and general manager for LJO, Inc.
