Harvey Nichols has joined the online world with the launch of its new website, aimed at attracting more visitors into its stores.

The new site was designed by Reflex New Media, but does not include an e-commerce section after a survey conducted in store cast doubts on whether it would produce enough sales.

Instead, the site will act as a virtual shop window, offering details on leading designers such as Dolce and Gabbana and Gucci. Harvey Nichols has stated that it has not ruled out fully the possibility of an e-commerce move.
