US streetwear operator Head Gear Sportswear is looking to bolster sales with the addition of five new brands to its portfolio.

Head Gear will add Blac Label Pink, Blac Label Gunmetal, Simple Math, Blac Label Kid's and footwear line Tru Ambition to its staple line Blac Label.

It has led the company to project year-end net sales of US$200m, a 340% increase from $45m in 2007.

"While elaborate T-shirts remain the foundation of the company and its success, we design, market and distribute full collections of men's and women's and now kid's apparel in hundreds of retail locations throughout the US," said Jeff Watson, founder of Head Gear Sportswear.
