Footwear brand Hi-Tec is making a return to the tennis shoe market with a new range of shoes and a new partnership deal with the Lawn Tennis Association.

The footwear range is being led by the Hi-Tec V-Lite Extreme Custom Fit which incorporates technologies already available in the firm's golf and outdoor collections - the V-LITE build concept and Custom Fitting technology.

Under its deal with the LTA, from January 2005 Hi-Tec is 'Official Partner,' supplying footwear for tournament ball kids, officials and LTA coaches as well as supporting The Coach Licence Scheme (CLS). 

Simon Bonham, marketing manager of Hi-Tec commented: "The Hi-Tec Tennis collection is a natural extension and evolution of our Court category. Hi-Tec are well equipped to make an impact in this highly competitive market thanks to our experience in producing quality, technically advanced sports footwear.

With over 30 years' experience in developing sports related performance footwear, Hi-Tec has sold over 250 million pairs of shoes worldwide, 30 million of which have been specifically designed for court related activities.
