Group sales increased 10% in April

Swedish clothing retailer Hennes & Mauritz H&M saw its comparable store sales increase 10% in April, marking the 25th consecutive month of growth.

Group sales, including VAT, increased 10% in local currencies, compared to the same month last year. This was the same increase seen in March, and in line with Reuters analyst expectations.

The owner of the H&M, Cos, Monki, Weekday, Cheap Monday, and & Other Stories banners, operated 3,610 stores on 30 April, up from 3,246 in the same period a year ago.
