H&M September sales were in line with analyst expectations

Swedish fashion retailer Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) has revealed an increase in September sales, in line with analyst forecasts.

For the four week period, sales increase 8% in September, beating Reuters analyst forecasts of a 7.5% rise.

The retailer's total number of stores amounted to 3,388 on 30 September, versus 3,006 in the prior year period.

Percentage sales development for October are expected to be published on 17 November.
