Swedish high street fashion chain H&M today (15 October) said that its total sales increased 25% for the month of September.

Its same-store sales increased 12% in a better-then-expected month for the company.

This compares with August, when same-store sales took a 1% dip even though total sales increased 11% over the prior year's period.

The firm specified that its number of stores amounted to 1,452 by 30 September, versus 1,300 at the same time last year, but did not provide revenue figures at this point.
