Employees at Swedish fashion chain H&M's French business are continuing to strike over proposed salary raises.

According to Richard Delumbe, who represents French trade union CGT, the workers have turned down the company's offer of a 6.2 per cent salary increase exclusively for employees with over two years' service.

CGT states that over 50 per cent of H&M's French workforce has been employed for less than two years. The workers and CGT are asking for an 11 per cent salary increase for all employees.
