iCongo, the e-commerce solutions provider and marketplace for the sporting goods industry, has entered into a three-year strategic alliance with TWIinteractive.

Part of IMG, the Mark McCormack Group of Companies - one of the world's premier sports marketing companies - TWIinteractive will exclusively represent iCongo in its establishment as "the leading e-commerce solutions provider with a world class infrastructure and suite of applications to support the first fully functional trading community for the sporting goods industry, using the Internet as a complete electronic sales and procurement system."

TWIi and affiliates of IMG will also make their global marketing, technical and sales resources available to iCongo. TWIi says that it will also consult with iCongo to help it maintain compatibility with the sites and technology produced by TWIi, enabling iCongo to integrate its offering into a growing set of properties.
