• Q3 profit grows 22% to $37.2m

Iconix Brand Group has lifted its full-year earnings guidance after booking a 22% increase in third-quarter profit.

Net income reached US$37.2m for the three months to 30 September, compared to $30.5m for the same period of last year. Meanwhile, revenue rose 6% to $113.8m from $107.2m a year ago.

"Our strong third quarter and year to date results reflect the continued strength of our overall portfolio and the power of our business model," said chairman and CEO Neil Cole.

"With solid brand performance domestically supported by large direct-to-retail licenses, and double-digit growth around the world driven by our global brands and joint ventures, we continue to execute in line with our successful track record."

The company now expects full-year diluted earnings per share to range from $2.61 to $2.65, compared to its earlier guidance of $2.50-$2.60. For fiscal 2015, Iconix expects diluted EPS to be $2.82-3.00, and revenue to range from $485m to $500m.
