Fashion group Inditex has bought 66,000 square metres of land within the Leon province of northern Spain, according to Cinco Dias.

Cinco Dias suggested Inditex would set up a 40,000-sqaure-metre warehouse - which reportedly cost EUR15m (US$17.90m) - on the land as part of its logistics strategy.

Reports in July said Inditex will spend EUR250m on growing its logistic infrastructures by 2008 and that a centre in Leon would be part of the plan.
