International Textile Group (ITG) is to expand a plant in Hoke County after landing US$100,000 worth of state incentives.

Greensboro-based ITG aims to plough about $7m into the Raeford facility and open up 65 new jobs, a governor's office statement said.

The facility is used by ITG's Burlington WorldWide division and makes fabric for military uniforms.

Average annual salaries for the new jobs will be about $26,000 compared to the county average of $21,528.

ITG currently employs 306 at the plant.
