Women’s apparel and shoe retailer J Jill Group Inc on Tuesday said it remains comfortable with its original third quarter earnings guidance of 17 to 18 cents a share on sales of $76 million to $79m.

The Massachusetts-based company issued its initial earnings guidance in late July when it revealed it sees fourth quarter earnings of 41 to 43 cents a share on sales of $106m to $110m.

It also lifted its outlook for the year at that time to earnings of $1.04 to $1.07 a share on sales of $342m to $349m from prior estimates of 88 cents to 91 cents a share on sales of $330.1m to $344.5m.
