eMark 3.0 optimises productivity and minimises production errors

Spanish sustainable technology firm Jeanologia has launched what it describes as its most advanced integrated software for fast apparel laser design.

Developed by a team of engineers at the company's R&D centres in Valencia and Barcelona, the new eMark 3.0 software is aimed at production designers and claims to minimise production errors and optimise productivity by up to 30%.

The software offers a realistic design preview, as well as easy design placement and adjustment. The gallery features large laser designs, which are constantly updated.

Other features include eMark Light tools that enhance industrial productivity without wasting energy or harming the environment; a Light ripper tool that creates different effects from heavily worn-in looks with breaks and over-repairs to original distressed patterns.

There is also a Light Scraper that creates slubs on denim fabrics without the harmful effects of hand sanding or manual scraping. It incorporates a virtual sandpaper, and claims to reduce time to market by four weeks.

And the Light PP Spray, which launched at the end of last year, replaces the use of potassium permanganate in the jeans production process.
