Denim finishing technology specialist Jeanologia has developed a tool that speeds up the sampling process and ensures garment finishing accuracy.
EDesigner, which debuted this week, means that from design to garment finishing, “what you see is what you get”, the company says.

“We want to transform the way jeans are designed,” says Enrique Silla, CEO of Jeanologia. “A digital tool that connects designers with wash developers, connects brands with manufacturers. EDesigner is a tool developed by Jeanologia customised for jeans creation. But it’s not only that, it’s an end-to-end platform that provides us with production data to get from production exactly what we had in design. This transports us to a new digital world.”
Jeanologia says the tool is simple to use without the need for a graphic designer. “You just need to understand your customer”, Silla says.

Customers can pick a fit from the Jeanologia gallery with the desired shape. A pattern and effects such as washing effect can then be added, and the design is then ready to be shared with the brand and the production plans.

Faster, easier and with more possibilities in the end. The quality will be exactly the same as before with hours and hours of work but in just a few clicks.”
Last month, Jeanologia opened a new innovation hub in Hong Kong, reinforcing the company’s international expansion plans and improving time to market.
