Clothing maker Jeantex group has signed a range of new apparel manufacturing contracts.

The company's new customers include Samsung, for which it will make denim bottoms and T-shirts for several licensing partners, TMI Holdings - owner of the Vikki Vi denim brand, Japanese department store chain ROPE, Yves Castaldi, for which Jeantex will make lines under the Just Yves and I Generation brands, Stronghold Jeans for a premium denim line, John Deere - a farm equipment giant, and Los Angeles-based designer Rhonda Jean Marc for which the company will make jeans under the RJM label.

Additionally, Jeantex announced that company-owned denim brand, Bone People, has received an order from Macy's West that is scheduled for delivery in the company's 2005 fourth quarter.

Jeantex chairman Henry Fahman said: "The addition of these new customers represents a strong opportunity for our business in the 2006 fiscal year.

"We are excited to have commenced with production and believe our new customers are an ideal fit to our growing account base."
