German fashion house Jil Sander, a unit of Italian luxury goods group Prada, has narrowed its first-half net loss to €9.7 million, compared with a net loss of €15.3 million in the January to July period of 2004.

For the first half of fiscal 2005/06, ending 31 January 2006, revenue rose to €69.8 million from €67.7 million in February to July 2004.

The company is in the midst of a restructuring plan which will continue in the second half of the year.
