Joe Scirocco has joined Quiksilver, the Huntington Beach, California-based outdoor lifestyle company, as chief financial officer. He succeeds Steve Brink, who has resigned but will stay with the firm to aid in the transition and provide consulting services thereafter.

Concurrently, David Morgan, most recently executive vice president of finance and operations, has been promoted to chief operating officer with specific responsibility for Quiksilver's global organization and systems.

From 1997 to 2006, Scirocco was with Tommy Hilfiger Corp, serving for the last two years as the firm's CFO. Earlier in his career, he spent seven years with Price Waterhouse.

Bernard Mariette, president of the firm, commented: "Since joining us in February of 2006, David Morgan has been a tremendous addition to our management team. David's 15 years of international experience at L'Oreal Group in finance and operations has already proven invaluable to us."

In addition to Quiksilver, the company's roster of brands includes Roxy, DC Shoes, Hawk, Rossignol, Gotcha and Radio Fiji. Its products include apparel, accessories and equipment for a variety of outdoor sports and recreation.
