Department store retailer Kmart is to carry the GLO jeans line exclusively from this month as part of a licensing deal with Jones Apparel Group Inc.

The collection includes denim and non-denim bottoms, knit tops, woven tops and dresses aimed at junior consumers aged 13-19, and there are plans to license other categories too.

"We view GLO jeans as an important brand that has tremendous potential to reach the fashion savvy Kmart junior consumer who shops with quality and value in mind," said Jack Gross, CEO of Jones Jeanswear Group.

The GLO line will retail from $19.98 to $29.99 for denim, $9.99 to $16.99 for tops, and $17.99 to $19.99 for shorts.

"GLO jeans rounds out an extensive portfolio of brands at Kmart, designed to help the junior and even young missy customer get the best fashion and latest trends at affordable prices," added Robin Creen, chief marketing officer, Kmart Apparel.
