Clothing giant Jones Apparel Group on Friday announced the launch of Bandalino apparel as it looks to build on the 30-year-old footwear brand’s popularity.

The New York-based company said the new moderately-priced line will feature a wide assortment of jackets, pants, skirts, sweaters, and blouses and will be available at major department stores for Fall 2003.

Jones Apparel president and CEO, Peter Boneparth, said: "The launch of Bandolino apparel is indicative of the power of our brands and our ability to create opportunities across the multiple core competencies of the Jones Apparel Group.
