Leading retailer of men's classically-styled tailored and casual clothing, Jos A Bank Clothiers Inc, has announced a series of appointments aimed at strengthening its merchandising team.

The Maryland-based operator of around 150 stores has promoted Frank Barbarino to the role of divisional vice president of worldwide sourcing and hired Thomas Teves, formerly with Belk Department Stores, to fill the new position of vice president and general merchandise manager of sports wear and furnishings.

The company also announced the appointment of Robin Graham, who recently worked for Saks Inc division Parisan's, as divisional merchandise manager of suits and suit separates, the position previously held by Mr Barbarino.

"Jos A Bank takes pride in its very strong merchandising organisation, which has played an important role in our recent industry-leading sales results", said CEO Robert Wildrick.

"By promoting Frank Barbarino and adding Tom Teves and Robin Graham to our team, we have taken an important step towards insuring our future growth."

He added: "These executives have tremendous experience in the retail industry, and we are fortunate to have them on our management team."
