French luxury goods group Kering has promoted Gianluca Flore to CEO of its Italian men's wear brand Brioni, replacing Francesco Pesci.

Flore, who will take up his new role on 1 November, will continue to support the brand's international growth in the high-end men's wear market.

He joined Kering in 2008, having most recently served as worldwide retail and wholesale director of Bottega Veneta and CEO of the brand's Asia-Pacific region.

Prior to Kering, Flore held the role of president at Fendi Americas. He has also served as president of Italian luxury clothing company La Perla North America.
