Polyester giant Kosa announced on Thursday it has entered into a long-term deal with the Union Developing Group of China (UDC) for its technology to be used in a huge new polyester polymer plant. KoSa will license to the textile giant its proprietary process technology to produce PET polymer, including product formulations, and key process design equipment. The pair will also establish a multi- year product marketing and feedstock relationship.
