Lifted Research Group, better known as L-R-G has inked a new licensing deal with Clean Plate Club (CPC) to design and market footwear collections under the L-R-G brand name.

The footwear will be sold in L-R-G's existing distribution channels including better department stores and specialty stores in the US, as well as through international distribution partners and online. The collection will also target footwear specific retailers.

"LRG footwear is a natural extension of our brand. It is something that we have wanted to do since our inception," said the brand's CEO Robert Wright. L-R-G currently produces and licenses men's clothing, headwear, accessories, women's and children's collections and timepieces.

The inaugural autumn 2012 collection will drop in July 2012 and will cover casual lifestyle, athletic lifestyle and outdoor categories.
