US women's wear retailer Bebe Stores has appointed Michelle Landgrebe as executive vice president and general merchandising manager of its 2b outlet division. 

The company operates 52 2b stores in the US and Canada, which sell clearance merchandise under the 2b label. 

Landgrebe will be responsible for merchandising, design, production, planning and allocation, as well as visual merchandising. She will report to Steve Birkhold, who was appointed CEO of Bebe Stores in January.

Most recently, Landgrebe served as vice president and general merchandising manager at VFSLA, part of the VF Corporation

She has more than 20 years retail and wholesale experience in merchandising, product development, sourcing and operations at companies including Polo Jeans, Earl Jeans, Tommy Hilfiger, Donna Karan, DKNY, and White House Black Market.

"Michelle's skills and expertise in merchandising and product development are exceptional," said Birkhold.

"She has a long track record of building businesses and driving results. Her talents and leadership abilities will help take the 2b brand to a whole new level."
