International mail order company Lands' End, Inc. (NYSE: LE) has announced the resignation of two of its board members. Board directors David Heller and Howard Krane plan to resign from the company in January, the end of its financial year.

The board are now looking to fill the vacancies after the two, who both became directors in 1986 when the company went public, decided to resign to follow other interests.

Heller and Krane have both drawn high praise for their 14 year service from company founder and chairman, Gary Comer. "We will miss David and Howard and in particular miss their wisdom and counsel on corporate governance matters. Each of them has made crucial contributions to the success of Lands' End over the years. We owe much of our success as a public company to their insights and guidance," he said.
