Italian shoe producer Le Silla is aiming to break into the US market and grow its current operations in the Middle East, Italian News Digest reported the company's external relations manager Monica Ciabattini as saying.

Le Silla eyes an opportunity to launch itself on the US market at the end of this year, and plans a flagship retail location in the Dubai Mall shopping centre for 2007.

Le Silla, which produces the Le Silla, Le Silla Project and Sillasport brands, presently has five single-brand outlets, and also sells goods in over 350 multi-brand stores.
