One of Estonia’s largest apparel manufacturers, Sangar, on Thursday sacked chairman Jaan Kallas citing differences of opinion over the speed of development of the company.

The firm, which employs almost 800 people at two plants and exports 85 per cent of its production to Scandinavia, said Kallas had been replaced by Gunnar Kraft.

Sangar produces garments under its own trademark and also for more well-known brands such as Austin Reed, Burberrys, Oscar Jacobson and Peak Performance.
