Technology firm Lectra has named Javier Garcia as director of strategic manufacturing accounts, a role that will see him build the company's relationships with its major worldwide customers.

Reporting to Edouard Macquin, group sales director, Garcia will be based at the company's headquarters in Paris. He became part of the Lectra team when it acquired Spanish CAD/CAM firm Investronica back in 2004, and his most recent role has been as sales director in Greater China.

"Javier's nomination is part of a worldwide sales team reinforcement plan which aims to accelerate Lectra's development over the next 24 months and to accompany its customers in their after-crisis challenges," said Daniel Harari, Lectra CEO.
