Littlewoods has appointed Matt Stead brand director of mature brands. The announcement follows a restructure at the retailer.

Stead, who until now was marketing director, joined Littlewoods last year from Marks & Spencer, where he was head of marketing for womenswear.

In the new role, Stead will oversee a team of about 20 staff. He will report to Littlewoods Shop Direct group chief executive Mark Newton-Jones.
