As part of its sustainability efforts, Finnish clothing company Makia is now shipping all of its web orders in recyclable RePack packaging.

RePack is a reusable and returnable packaging solution, made out of recycled polypropene, that is built to last at least 20 uses.

Now, as a part of an ongoing effort of doing more ecologically sustainable business, all Makia garment orders online will automatically be shipped in RePack, with no extra cost to customers.

In addition, the reusable packages are designed to fold in letter size when empty in a bid to encourage consumers to return empty RePack, free of charge.

Meanwhile, consumers who place an order before the end of July and return the empty RePack will receive a EUR10 (US$12) gift card to be used on their next order as part of an incentive scheme.

Swedish fashion retailer Filippa K, Mud Jeans, Finlayson, and Scandinavian Outdoor also use RePack.
