British high street giant Marks & Spencer has opened two stores in India to become the first global retail giant to open such outlets in the Asian nation. The modest-sized stores in New Delhi and Bombay have been set up in partnership with franchisee Planet Sports, as the Indian government does currently allow direct foreign investment in its retail sector.
