Sock producer MHS Tekstil is set to invest EUR1.5 million in a new manufacturing facility, Turkish News Digest has reported.

The Central Turkey-based company, headed by Seyit Sahan, plans to build its second factory in the Kayseri free zone due to high export demand.

The plant, to employ 50 workers, will be constructed on a 10,000 square metre plot and will boast 3000 square metres of floor space.

It is scheduled for completion in May, after which trial production will start.
MHS Tekstil's largest export market is Germany.
