Diversification to cover both the men's and women's suiting market is the current aim of the Bulgarian arm of the Miroglio group.

Its Bulgarian plant operates as a vertically integrated unit and currently produces both pure wool and wool/manmade blended fabrics with the additional option of stretch or machine washable properties.

Current emphasis is on cloth for the men's tailoring trade, which accounts for 70 per of the range being shown for winter 2003/4.

Meanwhile, the women's wear range for this season has been extended to include printed viscose georgettes and crepes - priced to appeal to the volume market.
