Sketch to sample time has been reduced by 40%, the brand says

German womenswear brand More & More has reduced its speed to market after implementing a new Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution.

Founded in 1982 and headquartered in Starnberg, the brand offers apparel for women through 50 retail stores in Germany and an online store and is distributed through 1,200 points of sale across 14 countries.

Prior to implementing Centric Software's Centric Fashion PLM solution, More & More handled product development using Excel spreadsheets, emails and PDFs which caused issues with version control and access to information.

"Planning new collections used to take a lot more time. Our designers had to search for information across different offices and departments to find out which products were most successful the year before in order to begin new collections," explains Yasar Esgin, CEO of Cemsel, parent company of More & More. 

Centric PLM has provided a solution to streamline and harmonise processes and development teams in Germany, which are now connected with manufacturing and sourcing teams in Turkey.  

What's more, sketch to sample time has been reduced by 40% and the company now has an overview of the whole production chain, from fabric to sell-through rate.
