Motif, a knowledge hub and e-learning platform launched by fit specialist Alvanon, has launched three online courses covering supply chain, sustainability and advanced spreadsheet analytics.

The fashion e-learning platform is partnering with New York's LIM College on the new business courses, which are targeted at global professionals within the apparel and retail sector.

The first LIM online course on supply chain will be released at the end of this month, followed by a course on sustainability, and advanced spreadsheet analytics for fashion professionals seeking to upgrade or expand their skill sets.

Courses are four to six weeks in length (for 1.5-2 hours per day) and cost between US$290-$525 each. All instruction will be delivered asynchronously – meaning participants can start a course any time they like and complete it in their own time.

Motif is supporting the development of LIM courses on the platform. LIM instructors will have access to the company's newly released course authoring tools and source advisory services, which are built for instructors, universities and companies to self-publish. LIM College will be the first higher education publisher on Motif.
