Floundering retailer Marks & Spencer has been dealt another blow with two more departures from its ladies' wear team.

Margaret McDonald, head buyer of the Limited Collection, which was launched this year, is returning to clothing retailer Gap.

While Zoe Williams, another buyer for the same range, has also announced that she is to leave the company.

The resignations, which will come into effect next month, follow last month's departure of ladies' wear creative director Yasmin Yusuf.

The departures come in the same week that ex-Asda employee Kate Bostock takes up the reins as director of ladies' wear.

An M&S spokeswoman said the two departures are unconnected.

Marks & Spencer is under increasing pressure to improve its performance following repeated takeover attempts by high-street mogul Philip Green.
