My Vintage Baby has decided to move its fabric production to the same factory in China that manufactures its children's wear garments.

The Texan company said it is shifting production, from Korea, to reduce costs and streamline production.

"The consolidation eliminates the sample fabric printing charge, which was approximately $8,000 last season," said Jeff Welsh CFO, My Vintage Baby.

"In addition to this savings, our price per square yard will be reduced by $4.71 or $5.91, depending on the roll size.

"This represents a savings of between 65% and 70% for comparable fabrics. We have also eliminated the need to ship between factories."

CEO Jessica Wiswall added: "We can now accurately predict our fabric requirements, ensuring that all orders are filled, while producing no excess fabric."
