The CTI Group has revealed its new finishing line solutions in a series of open days attended by large and small manufacturers at the company's Productivity Improvement Centre in Tamworth. The event also provided CTI Group managing director Chris Williams with an opportunity to outline new developments and discuss what manufacturers can expect from the CTI-Kannegiesser partnership.

Chris Nixon, CTI (Sales) Ltd's business development executive for apparel and clothing, and Hergen Vollert from Kannegiesser, looked at the technical product and production details, including how to tailor-make systems for individual production requirements, applications for all fabrics, garment types and styles, the key factors that influence finish quality, and how successful control produces optimum finish.

Visitors also had the opportunity to view a fully operational finishing, the centrepiece of which was the Kannegiesser Tunnelstar operated by a team from ATP of Tamworth. Eric Allan, director of ATP, commented: "This exercise has been really worthwhile for us. Not only has CTI Group given us the opportunity to try out the system in a working environment but we have been able to increase our output from 30,000 to over 60,000 garments processed."
