US footwear business Crocs has made a number of key management appointments intended to help the company to turn its fortunes around.

The management changes include the appointment of Bob Munroe to general manager of Crocs Americas region, and Greg Sullivan to the new role of senior vice president of global business transformation.

Two further appointments include Scott Yuan to general manager of Greater China, and Michelle Poole to senior vice president of global product creation and merchandising.

"Consistent with our previously stated intent of upgrading the management team, these changes will help us bring together global merchandising, design, development and product management to work as one team, with focus and purpose," said Andrew Rees, Crocs president.

The changes are part of a company-wide strategic plan revealed in July aimed at bringing long-term growth to Crocs, including more than 180 global job cuts.
