Clothing maker North Bay Apparel Ltd is reviving the Sweats bī ebe casual sportswear label under a licensing agreement with Sweats trademark-holder TD&S Ltd LLC.

Sweats bī ebe was an important market force in the early 1980s, bringing in sales worth around $100 million yearly.

The relaunched mid-priced range features Sweats bī ebe cotton bottoms, knit tops, fleece and outerwear targeted to men ages 18-35.

North Bay has established a New York showroom for the label, and has appointed company vice president Jeff Roth to direct sales for the division.

1977-established North Bay develops private label programs for many of America's leading retailers, and also markets apparel under its own North Bay and Trilogy brands, along with men's active outerwear collections produced under license from Champion.
