The value of Indian-made garment exports to quota countries has risen 12 per cent year-on-year for November to US$329.3 million, according to Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) data.

This was despite a 3.35 per cent year-on-year drop in the quantity of garments exported during the month, to 80.8 million pieces.

AEPC said some developing nations with preferential trading arrangements were getting duty-free treatment on imports, affecting the performance of Indian exports.
