End of year surveys in Japan have revealed that the American-made strapless Nubra has been the single greatest apparel hit with women this year, with over 210,000 bras sold since its launch in March.

Accounting for more than half the global sales of Nubra, the bras - which boast silicon-like, self-adhesive cups connected at the front by a hook - are being prized as breast enhancers say industry commentators.

Despite a colder than usual summer the new bra also appealed to young women who were looking for a bra they could wear with revealing items such as lingerie.
