OptiTex, the developer of 2D and 3D CAD systems for the fashion industry, has announced two appointments as parf of efforts to drive overseas growth and meet global demand. 

Ziv Leshem has been appointed as vice president of marketing and business development. Leshem, who joined OptiTex from telecommunications firm Amdocs, has previously held similar roles for several software companies.

Meanwhile, Ofer Asif has been named vice president of Asia and emerging markets. In his new role, he will lead the company's business in these markets. He has previously held a variety of management and field roles and was responsible for large scale sales. He has experience establishing and managing direct and indirect sales at high-tech companies including Comverse, Qmarkets and SkyVision.
