Kiely Rowan, parent of international lifestyle and fashion brands Orla Kiely and Etc., has signed a licensing deal with marketing and distribution firm Fujii Company of Japan.

The partnership will see the Fujii Company manage the roll-out of the Orla Kiely brand across Japan, utilising a specially-developed omni-channel strategy built around a core internet proposition, with additional retail spaces in prestigious locations.

The partnership will see a much higher profile in Japan for the Orla Kiely brand's key lines, which include clothing, home and accessories.

The Fujii Company said it has already put in place an experienced full-time team to work with the brand.

Dermott Rowan, co-founder and CEO of Kiely Rowan, finalised the deal during a recent trip to Japan.

He said: "We've always found a strong appreciation for our brand in Japan - our partnership with Fujii Company is the perfect platform for reaching many more people. We've worked hard to establish Orla Kiely as a uniquely distinctive global brand and we couldn't be more pleased about this big step forward in Japan."
