Paxar Corp has introduced a new programme designed to help its apparel manufacturing customers as they increasingly move production to Latin America.

Called Passport, the programme provides support services to customers of Paxar's in-plant printing systems. The services include: complete reconditioning of the printers in Paxar's facility in Sayre, PA; packing and shipping the machine to the customer's Latin American site; unpacking and set-up of the machine at the new location; and on-site training of machine operators there.

The programme also features trade-in incentives for customers with older models and on-site continuing maintenance programmes.
